Solo Exhibition Dates 2019

Kidogo Arthouse is an exhibition venue in Fremantle

My Next Solo Exhibition …

Drum roll! Mark your diaries! My next solo exhibition will be at Kidogo Arthouse, in Fremantle, late next year: 8-13 November 2019. I will exhibit in both of the gallery spaces – and show new paintings and prints.

About the Venue – Kidogo Arthouse

Kidogo is a heritage-listed, limestone building, situated next to Bathers’ Beach, at the edge of the Indian Ocean. It was originally built in 1884 by Harwood and Son, reportedly as a ‘Dangerous Goods Store’ and has served a number of purposes since then, including a kerosene storehouse and a shipwright’s shed. Narrowly avoiding demolition in 1972, it was reborn as an important hub for creative arts.

Since 1998, Joanna Robertson has managed the building in its present incarnation as the ‘Kidogo Arthouse’.

In 2012, a major $2 million upgrade of the area around Kidogo Arthouse was completed with a stunning, timber boardwalk promenade where many come to watch the spectacular sunsets. Surrounded by the restaurants and bars of Fremantle Fishing Boat Harbour and the oldest public building in Western Australia, the Roundhouse, it is a popular destination for both locals and tourists.
